FEAST Foundation at the 2024 Asian Contents and Film Market

FEAST Foundation, represented by Producer Jane Gonzales and Director Joseph Abello flew to Busan, South Korea for the Asian Contents and Film Market last October 5-8, 2024.

For the second year in a row, FEAST Foundation’s Producer Jane Gonzales represented the foundation at the Asian Contents and Film Market. She was also chosen to participate in the maiden batch of the Producer’s Hub of ACFM.

The ACFM is a film and content market that includes audiovisual content for TV, OTT, and other platforms. It also features original content like web novels, webcomics, and books. This year, they launched the “Producer Hub”. This program included 

Producer Talks featuring case studies on international co-productions, and seminars hosted by program partners offering practical information on co-production locations and funding opportunities, as well as luncheons and networking events designed to foster exchanges among participants. Over a hundred producer participants from Korea and the rest of the world joined Producer Hub. Jane was also able to meet different acquisition companies and has been developing continued discussions and negotiations for potential collaboration and partners for FEAST Foundation’s projects in development like Balagtas’ Florante at Laura, and Fashionera.

Jane was joined by The Dadadoos director, Joseph Abello, who was a part of the Platform Busan—a platform for filmmakers to develop and foster film pitching to potential international producers.
